Speaker: Martha Prideaux, an adjunct faculty member of the Studio School at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, discusses her journey as an artist. Martha is a mixed media abstract expressionist artist who divides her time between Richmond, VA, and Beaufort, NC. She uses cold wax medium mixed with oil paint to create work that suggests the passage of time. Her work often incorporates drawing, collage, and other mixed media techniques in her paintings.
