MRAA Annual Members’ Show

This is our Annual Competition, with cash prizes and ribbons!
Each Exhibiting Member may enter up to 2 pieces. Entry fee is $11 each
Sales will be handled by the Art Works Gallery.
40% commission. Art work must remain throughout the show. All artwork must be for sale.
CALL FOR ENTRIES: Opens: tbd, Closes: tbd
DROP OFF: Sunday 11/15/2026, 11 am to 5 pm to the Port 1 and Port 2 gallery space.
OPENING RECEPTION and Judges remarks, Friday, November 27, 2026, 6 to 8 pm.
Catered reception by Art Works. (This is the day after Thanksgiving. A great time to bring your family).
PICK UP: Sunday 12/27/2026 11 am to 5 pm.
(This is also a holiday weekend. Please plan ahead)
– Art must not have been shown in the Richmond Area within the past six months. (And, not ever with MRAA)
– There is a 40% commission. Please price accordingly.
– At Art Works, all work needs to have a similar presentation. If framed, use a relatively thin black frame (floater or conventional), or, if gallery wrapped, the canvas needs to be at least 1 inch depth, and fully painted on the sides.
– All artwork must arrive wired with d-rings and ready to hang or professionally presented for display. Please tape or staple your name, title, price and contact information on the back. (Hint: when you register on MRAA’s call for entry, your response memo contains a paper label at the bottom. It’s perfect for attaching to the back of your art.)
