ROSALIND KOONS
A mixed-media sculpture artist, Rosalind creates alien-inspired works, informed from both science-fiction and her experience with chronic illness. Koons, an artist based in Richmond, is a graduate from VCU with a BFA in Sculpture and a BA in Art History, and was a recipient of the 2024 VMFA Professional Fellowship. In addition to a talk delving into her artistic process and body of work, Koons will also provide a hands-on demo of the materials used for her work– assemblages of plaster, wall insulation, resin, and other mixed media. rosalindkoons.com

Lucille Lanier Lugay is a daily sketchbook aficionado. A landscape architect, her sketchbook is full of loose watercolor studies pulled straight from her garden.
