Join Us for Opportunities, Demos, and Fellowship!
Welcome to Metro Richmond Artists. Founded in 1955, we’re Richmond’s oldest professional artist organization, and we’re still growing today!
Monthly Saturday morning meetings have featured local professional artists such as Paul DiPasquale, Dan Bartges, and Robin Caspari as well as other painters, printmakers, sculptors, artist’s materials manufacturer’s reps, and gallery owners. We’ll even splash some paint around: professional artists frequently present live demos at these meetings. And we host an annual Holiday party, and various field trips to artist’s studios and art museums.
In addition to MRAA membership benefits, Metro Richmond Artists members receive our monthly newsletter, and are eligible to join our Facebook and Instagram pages.
The Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association provides numerous exhibition opportunities each year including large group shows at cultural hubs of the city, small 2-and-3 person shows, and solo show options.
One of our most popular benefits is the monthly critique group where members gather to enjoy both kinds of wining, and provide peer group feedback in a supportive environment.
Artists from around the Richmond region are members, and hail from as far away as Ashland to Chesterfield, and from Colonial Heights to Louisa County.
