ROSALIND KOONS
A mixed-media sculpture artist, Rosalind creates alien-inspired works, informed from both science-fiction and her experience with chronic illness. Koons’, an artist based in Richmond, is a graduate from VCU with a BFA in Sculpture and a BA in Art History, and was a recipient of the 2024 VMFA Professional Fellowship. In addition to a talk delving into her artistic process and body of work, Koons’ will also provide a hands-on demo of her material usage for her work- an assemblage of plaster, wall insulation, resin, and other mixed media. rosalindkoons.com
