Theresa Pollak, Founding Member

This organization owes a debt of gratitude to Theresa Pollak, one of the founding members of what is now the Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association. She was an early member and Vice President of the Richmond Artists Association, now known as MRAA, from 1958-1959. In 1978, she became a lifetime Honorary Member and was a frequent exhibitor with our club.  More about our history.

She once said, “Always one must be happy at whatever comes because whatever comes is life, and therefore wonderful. Whatever comes is an adventure and a privilege—the privilege of feeling, sensing, experiencing and as long as one has this all should be welcome.”

We present here a few of her works, to give you an idea of her range and creativity.
